Stewardship in Islam
Qur’an teaches that humans are Khalifa (stewards) of the Earth.
looking after the Earth shows respect to Allah. Allah created everything, and he knows when people look after it and when people damage it.
Muslims would also care for the environment to preserve it for future members of the ummah (community of all Muslims).
The Qur’an says “The world is green and beautiful, and Allah has appointed you ….his……. …..stewards……………… over it.”

-pro choice groups believe that the women should have the right to choose because it is her body, her child she has to take care of and she goes through child birth
-SPUC believe life starts begins from conception and therefore believe abortion is murder
-Pro life groups believe unwanted children can be adopted and disabled children can still have a good life
