What happens in stage ONE of cell division?
A
The cell grows in size and mass, but also replicates its DNA to form two copies of the same cell. Apart from this, they carry out normal cell activities.

What happens in stage TWO of cell division?
A
In stage 2, mitosis occurs.

What is mitosis?
A
Mitosis is when the 2 replicas of the nucleus get pulled to either end of the cell and the cell divides.

Why is Mitosis important?
A
It is important because it performs growth, repair and development ‘projects’ on multicellular organisms

A
The rest of the organelles that are in a cell divide creating 2 daughter cells
