Q

Pressure reducing valve assembly with mechanical low pressure warning whistle

A

Reduces cylinder pressure to intermediate pressure

Flow capacity of pressure reducer is 700lpm at full pressure

Whistle activates at 55 plus or minus 5 bar

Low pressure whistle has corresponding change in HUD, control module and buddy lights

Whistle does not rely on power from set

Q

Buddy breather

A

Allows firefighters to quickly connect and share air from their cylinders

There are 17 formal steps. These can be summarised as:
- provide a sitrep
- the provider is the person who does not have an issue with their air supply or set and has a preferred minimum pressure of 150 bar
- provider removes their manifold, exposes the male coupling, and let it hang off their set
- locate the female coupling off the receivers set
- push the couplings firmly together to join, and then pull to ensure they are properly connected
- provide a sit rep and get out
