Fastidious gram negative

What are the different vectors that spread?
A
Sandflies, louse borne (trench fever, infections in homeless), cat scratch/bite

What does it cause in AIDs/immunocompromised?
A
Vascular lesions (may be almost anywhere - skin, subcutaneous tissue, bone or other organs!)
Bacillary angiomatosis, bacillary peliosis
Endocarditis

What fever does it cause?
A
Trench fever spread by lice and crowded humans

How does cat scratch disease spread?
A
Fleas spread it from cat to cat. Cat remains well and maybe bacteraemic for years.

Eliminate cat fleas

A
Enlarged lymph nodes
