A
acute onset paralysis or weakness of muscles only in the face

how to manage Bell’s palsy
A
determine it is not a stroke - FAST
if not a stroke
- protect eye with patch, eye lubricants and tape eyelids at night
- advise patient to seek urgent medical care

what can adult patients with bell’s palsy be prescribed
A
prednisolone 25mg two times a day for 10 days
