A

patients taking certain drugs (inhaled corticosteroids and broad spectrum antibiotics)
diabetic patients
patients with nutritional deficiencies
leukaemia or HIV patients

A

white patches on oral mucosa which can be wiped off to reveal raw erythematous base which can be painful and bleed
