What is glucose used for in a plant?

What can glucose be changed into in a plant?
- insoluble starch, stored in the stem, leaves or roots
- fat or oil, which is also stored
- cellulose, to strengthen cell walls
- proteins, which are used for growth and for enzymes
What do plants need, in addition to glucose, to make proteins?
Nitrate ions from the soil
