Firm, irregular mass; may mimic cancer; history of trauma or surgery Any age (post-trauma) Mammogram: oil cysts, calcifications; U/S: complex mass
features of breast abscess
Painful, red, hot fluctuant mass; fever; often in lactating women Lactating women U/S: localized fluid collection; aspiration may confirm diagnosis
