As you are seated next to an emergency exit, I need to brief you on its operation:

Only open this exit when advised to do so by a crew member or when you hear the command to evacuate

When you hear the command to evacuate, look outside for obvious danger

If it is safe:
Insert hand under cover, palm facing you
Pull handle down and inward. The window opens up and out automatically.
