Prince was sad so when 20 left palace he saw many signs of suvering then left palace to find a deeper meaning in life

They worship the buddha and they follow his example they do not worship him as a god
They believe in cycle of birth life death and rebirth known as samsara
They believe in the 4 noble truth
They follow the noble eightfold path
They follow five rules called the 5 precepts
