Features of Business Enviroment
You take a ride in future bus to see enviroment. The bus is like the ones in tron, and it has hollow wheels.
1. Complexity - The first nature stop is a shopping complex where a large building of city bank is there.
2. Totality of External Forces - You see an ad for colgate totality protection, and then look down to see external running towards you with force, saying that total was wrong.
3. Specific and General Forces - You run and hide in a line for a movie theater. You see you are standing in the wrong line, one is for army general and one is specifically just for you!
4. Uncertainity - You are uncertain what is inside the hall and get scared to walk in.
5. Relativity - You relatives (Suman Bua etc.) come and push you in.
6. Inter-Related - You are forced to enter because of your related.
7. Dynamic Nature - Once you are forced to enter because your related, you see inside is nature with a giant dynamite that explodes.
Importance of Business Environment
You are Ratan Tata. Ratan Tata takes VIP and plans to travel in bus to see environment near his hometown.
1. Enables the Firm to Identify Opportunities and Getting the First Mover Advantage - He shoes his identity card and that enables him to get opportunity to get advantage to move first inside.
2. Helps the Firm to Identify Threats and Early Warning Signals - As he’s going in, the detectors in the door of the bus check his identity card again, and suddenly threat signals begin blaring.
3. Helps in Tapping Usfeul Resources - They think it must be a mistake, so he is made to go inside and use tap for useful resources. Since the tap works, it is declared that it is Ratan Tata only.
4. Helps in Coping with Rapid Changes - More cops are called for help. The cops ping their home base, and are suspecting an attack on the bus, so they rapidly change the color of the bus.
5. Helps in Assisting in Planning and Policy Formulation - Police cars assist bus in a V formation. Little do they know this is part of the terrorist’s plan.
6. Help in Improving Performance - Terrorist sends girl inside, who does performance which helps distract Ratan Tata.
Impact of Government Policy Changes on Business and Industry
There is a meeting among government (Narendra Modi), police and business industry of Ambanis. They hold a pact by doing pukam.
1. Increasing Competition - The Ambani brothers do competition in a boxing ring, to see who will get sun for business.
2. More Demanding Customers - There is a draw, so the customers are not satisfied, and the customers demand more. So they hand out orange shoes to everyone.
3. Rapidly Changing Technological Enviroment - Customers still not happy they run. They run outside and plant a tree and use technology to make it grow rapidly. As the tree grows, it raplidly changes the enviroment, and people get distracted by it.
4. Necessity for Change - So in the meanwhile, the Ambani brothers run to their house and break the door. So there is a necesiity for change of door.
5. Need for Developing Human Resource - They try changing it themselves but they are unsuccesfull. So there is need for human resources, so Dev D is called, and he collects people at knife-point and brings them to fix the door. Once the job is done, he feeds them sauces like they are babies.
6. Market Orientation - Now with people calm, Ambanis go back to visit tree. They see it has grown well, so they keep it in vicks box to act as if it is orient fan, and it is sold as oriental orient fan in market.
7. Loss of Budgetary Support to the Public Sector - These fans are out of budget of normal customers, so rich people buy them. Public suffer loss as fans have loss of support and fall on public breaking sectors of their house. Ambani’s hide their faces in ovens and run away.
