What are the enforcing authority provisions for ONR under TEA 13?

Answer 2

Section 82 of TEA 13 makes ONR the EA for GB nuclear sites.

This provision includes the enforcement of the provisions of NIA 65 (as an RSP of TEA13), notably, the LCs.

Under TEA 13, s82(2), ONR is also the EA on GB nuclear sits for:

Safeguards under the Safeguards act 2000
Security under NISR 03
Transport of Class 7 goods under CDG09

ONR enforces only HASWA on Auth defence sites, warship sites. Nuclear safety on these sites rests with DNSR.
