16
Q

Systemics and indicated use

A

Antimicrobials: rarely indicated due to XX concentration
GC’s: for moderate to severe otic inflammation
- beware side effects & monitor

17
Q

Surgical treatment for ear problems

A

Total ear canal ablation & bulla osteotomy
Indicated w chronic, proliferative, irreversible damage

18
Q

Random ear conditions

A

Feline ceruminous cystomatosis
- uncommon, non neo, can predispose to oitis
Feline polyps
- ventral bulla osteotomy for less chance of occurrence
