Feldman and Eidelman-alert phases

A
  1. Babies have alert phases when they’re ready for a spell of interaction.
  2. Feldman and Eidelman state mothers pick up and respond to their baby’s alertness around 2/3 of the time
  3. Around 3 months these interactions become frequent and involves mother and baby paying close attention to each other.
