-People left without water and food
-Crime increased due to government being taken over by rebels
-Outbreaks of cholera
-Port damaged so aid was slow to arrive
-Haiti very poor so rely on international aid
-People still affected by earthquake today

-Known as Media City, home of BBC as well as many well known brands
-Example of a reinventor city

-Located in Cornwall
-One of the most deprived areas due to the collapse of the mining industry
-Houses are unaffordable and prices are rising
-Highest rates of sleeping rough
-Dereliction, domestic violence etc.
