What is the difference between the two types of twins
A
Monozygotic twins is when one ovum or fertilized egg splits and develops into two babies with the same genetic information. Arise from a single zygote which splits after a number or cell divisions

Monozygotic as they are an amniotic sac, which means they would have split after implantation of the blastocyst into the endometrium , day 7-12.
