What is Salvation History
Salvation History is the story of all the words and actions that God has undertaken so that we can know him. It is not merely past events but current events.
What is a gospel
“Gospel” is a military term that refers to the proclamation of a king’s victory over his enemies
What does Gospel mean in Christianity?
In Christianicy, “gospel” means “the proclamation of the victory of Jesus over sin, death and demons.”
What are the Gospels?
The Gospels are at the heart of all scripture. The four Gospels showcase all that Jesus did and taught in order to save men from sin, death and demons
What is the Incarnation
Incarnation literally means enfleshment. The incarnation refers to the central event of history, where the second person of the Trinity became man in order to bring all men to salvation.
What is Salvation?
The forgiveness of sin and restoration of friendship with God, which can be done by God alone.
What is the Hypostatic Union?
The Hypostatic Union is the mysterious joining of the divine and the human in one person of Jesus. Jesus is both fully God and fully man.
Why did God become Man?
Jesus says, “I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly” (Jn 10:10)
The Catechism of the Catholic Church says the word became flesh for four main reasons:
1. The Word became flesh for us in order to save us by reconciling us with God.
2. The Word became flesh so that we might know God’s love.
3. The Word became flesh to be our model of holiness.
4. The Word became flesh to make us “partakers of the divine nature”
Why was Mary given a special grace?
God gives graces to one person for the sake of the whole. Mary was given a special grace so that Jesus could come and rescue all of humanity.

Who is Jesus?
Jesus is the second person of the Trinity who was incarnate of the virgin Mary, suffered crucifixion and death, rose from the dead and will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead.

The father says, “This is my beloved Son, listen to him”
