Q

Mitosis

A

Produces the cells of the body. When they split, they produce two identical daughter cells with a complete set of DNA. It only has one division that leads to two cells. Purpose is growth, development, replacement, repair and asexual reproduction. Mitosis is performed by all somatic cells in the organism.
