Cell Specialisation and Organisation Flashcards

1
Q

Q

How are tissues arranged into organs?

A

An organ is a combination of tissues that are coordinated to perform a variety of cunctions, although they usually have one predominate function. Tissues aggregate together (e.g. muscle, epithelium, connective –> somach)
