Double membrane that binds the nucleus.

Large body within the nucleus. Made of RNA and associated proteins.

Attached to the nucleus. Facilitates cellular communication and channeling of materials.
Rough ER
Has ribosomes attached to the outside. Associated with the synthesis, secretion, or storage of proteins.
Smooth ER
Lacks ribosomes. Associated with lipid secretion.
Ribosomes
Organelle composed of two sub units. Initiate protein synthesis
Dictyosomes
Similar to Golgi bodies in animal cells. Involved in the modification of carbs. Disperses vesicles to the plasma membrane.
Mitochondria
power house of the cell. releases energy from organic compounds.
