C1, sensory, motor, p.g.s to geniohyoid m., ventral rami
What is the function of the thyrohyoid nerve?
C1, sensory, motor, +p.g.s to thyrohyoid m., ventral rami
What is the superior root of ansa cervicalis responsible for?
C1, sensory, postganglionic syn, motor fxn to superior belly omohyoid, ventral rami
Transverse cervical root, innervation, and function
Sensory + p.g.s to lower scm and anterior neck , c2-c3, ventral
What does the lesser occipital nerve innervate?
C2, sensory + p.g.s to skin of posterior lateral aspect of head + upper neck, ventral
What is the function of the great auricular nerve?
C2, C3, sensory + p.g.s to skin over upper sternocleidomastoid + lower parotid region and ear. Ventral
What does the phrenic nerve innervate?
Sensory, motor, p.g.s to diaphragm.
C3,4,5, ventral
What does the inferior root of ansa cervicalis consist of?
C2, C3, ventral, sensory,motor, pgs to sternohyoid, sternothyroid, inferior belly omohyoid
What does the transverse cervical nerve provide?
C2, C3, sensory + p.g.s to skin over lower SCM + anterior neck.
What does the greater occipital nerve innervate?
Sensory + p.g.s to skin overlying back of head, dorsal, C2
Third occipital nerve
C3, dorsal, sensory and pgs of skin over suboccipital triangle
Sulraclavicular
Sensory and pgs of skin on lower half of posterior triangle
