Who is the true true God

The true God is a infinite holy and intelligent spirit and the maker and supreme ruler of heaven and earth John 424 states God is spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

His name is Jehovah Psalms 83:18 states That men may know that thou whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth.

God dwells everywhere


How does he account for this?

He accounts for this by his omnipresence: Psalm 139 7-10 state "Whither shall i flee from thy presence? if i ascend up into heaven , thou art there: if i make my bed in hell. behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost part of the sea: even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.


Why do you believe in the existence of God?

I believe in the existence of God because nature declares it, and the scriptures teach it Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament showeth his handwork

Why do you say he is almighty?

I say he is almighty because he has creative power


Is the living God the Supreme God

The living God is the supreme God


Why do you call him the living God

I call him the living God because in him dwelleth life. John 5:26 states: "for as the Father have life in himself:so hath he given to the son to life in himself"


Of what is God worthy?

God is worthy of all possible honor, praise, confidence and love. Rev. 4 verse 11 states "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to recieve glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and where created."

Three persons constitute the God-Head

They are: God the father, god the Son and God the holy Spirit.

These three are equal in every divine perfection

They act harmoniously in the plan of redemption.

The father draws John 6:44 states "No man can to me, except the father which hath sent me draw him: and i will raise him up at the last day".


What part does the son perform?

The son makes free John 8:36 states "If the son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed"


What is the holy spirits work

The holy spirit seals Eph 4:30 "And grieve not the Holy Spirit of god, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption"


How do you know that each of these persons is equal in every divine perfection?

I know that each of these persons is equal in every divine perfection because each possess the same attributes.


How many attributes does god possess?

God possesses 15 or more natural, and 5 or more moral attributes, these include: His self-existence, His eternity, , His mercy, his goodness and His Holiness.


What is meant by self existence?

By his self- existence I mean his existence of himself, John 1:1 states "in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with god, and the Word was God"

By his eternity i mean his existence from all eternity. Psalm 90:2 states "Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

By his mercy i mean his disposition to pity his suffering children, By His goodness, i mean his disposition to impart happiness to all his creatures. By His holiness i mean his perfection
