Baldness or loss of hair, mainly on the head
Alopecia
Dimness of vision without apparent physical deficit or disease
Amblyopia
A sensation that sometimes comes before a migraine headache or seizure; may include sensations of movement or discomfort or emotions
Aura
Illness in which the patient goes back and forth between opposite extremes; the most notable bipolar disorder is manic-depressive disorder, which is characterized by extreme highs and lows in mood
Bipolar disorder
Disorder of the nervous system in which abnormal electrical activity in the brain causes involuntary effects (e.g.,seizures)
Epilepsy
Inability to sleep, difficulty falling or remaining asleep
Insomnia
Severe headache, usually accompanied by vision problems and/or nausea and vomiting, that typically recurs
Migraine headache
Pain along the course of a nerve
Neuralgia
Abnormal electrical discharge in the cortex of the brain, affecting certain functions
Partial seizures
Describes something that is located in or relates to the back of the body
Posterior
Pain in the trigeminal (side of face) nerve
