A patriot offers sacrifice for the country. For a patriot , the soveignity , integrity and honour of their country are the three supreme values on which no compromise can be made. He renders sacrifice for the preservation of these values.
Who led the Muslims in their struggle for a seperate homeland?
Quaid-e-Azam was a nation builder. He led the muslims of the sub-continent in their struggle for a seperate homeland. He wanted to protect the values of the Muslims of the sub-continent. That’s why he struggled for years and gave the muslims their identity.
What is the highest military award of Pakistan?
Pakistan’s highest military award is the Nishan-e-Haider. This award is given to those great patriots who sacrificed their lives for the honour of their country. Major Aziz Bhatti , Muhammad Akram , Rashid Minhas , Major Shabir Shareef Shaheed and Captain Sher Khan were awarded the Nishan-e-Haider because they embraced martyrdom while fighting for the country.
How will you define patriotism?
Patriotism means the love for one’s motherland or devotion to one’s country. A patriot loves his country and sacrifices his life for it when the need arises. The word patriot comes from the latin word “Patriota” which means countryman. It is considered a commendable quality.

As a citizen of Pakistan , it is our duty to sacrifice our life in case of any danger and help other people at the time or war and in any natural disaster. We should give honour to everyone. We should work hard for the progress and prosperity of our country.

The spirit of patriotism makes us stay alert in the wake of a foreign invasion. History reveals many examples of sacrifice. In the wars of 1965 , 1971 and 1998 not only the soldiers but alsp the common people of the country sacrificed their lives to save the country.

“We must develop a sense of patriotism which galvanizes us all into a united and strong nation”
Quaid-e-Azam gave us a sense of patriotism that bestows strength and courage to safeguard the interests of the country. It means we should be united and work hard for the betterment of our country. We should also live and work for common aims and purposes. This will make us strong as a nation.
