The Systems Control Unit is a functional unit within the Logistics Section primarily responsible to monitor and control building systems as directed by the IC. If there is no Logistics Section Chief the Systems Control Unit Leader (SCUL) will report directly to the Incident Commander.
The Systems Control Unit Leader will maintain a close liaison with building personnel. Assigned duties will be done with the assistance of building personnel (Fire Safety Director, Building Engineer). This shall include:

• Monitor and control the HVAC system as directed by the IC
• Monitor and control the building fire suppression systems as directed by the IC
• Monitor and control any other building system as directed by the IC
• Maintain contact with essential building personnel (Facility Engineer, Fire Safety
