Uncaused Cause
Everything is caused by something, but something had to be there first

At one point nothing existed, and now things exist. Something can’t be created out of nothing
The Moral Argument
Must be some highest degree of goodness from which all good things flow
Argument from Design
For natural things to reach their goal, they need guidance from an intelligent designer
What is biblical illumination and what does the art of biblical illumination tell us about the Bible?
Biblical Illumination is making the message of the Bible brighter and clearer to you. The Bible is the true word of God and should be glorified, just like the the Book of Kells. We spend time reading it and contemplating its meanings to become closer to God. The art of biblical illumination helps us understand God’s message and his glory.
Why didn’t God just give us the Bible?
Message is presented in different ways across different times.
God is still the author it is without error,
God renders the authors capable of divine authority, but author is still responsible for style, language, and artistic point of view
