Old polluting buses have been replaced with new ones - carbon monoxide and particulates have been reduced by 50% since 2005. However, fares have risen due to the cost of the buses.

Green management initiative that focuses on areas such as public spaces, waste handling, land use and sanitation. Air pollution is down by 35% since 2000 but people aren't consulted about changes.

People exchange their rubbish and waste for green point vouchers which they then exchange for seasonal produce from local farmers. Only benefits 3000 families.

Migrants raised money through savings to build a school and later improved the area through voluntary work. They then built a health centre and started a program of supported self-build for people arriving from the countryside.
