A

Originates middle burner
Runs down to connect with LI
Ascends to ST and diaphragm and enters lungs
Ascends to throat, emerges at LU 1
Descends along medial aspect of arm to reach styloid process of radius, then to thenar eminence and ends at medial side of tip of thumb

Large Intestine Main Channel Pathway

A

Tip of index finger
Runs along radial side of index finger and up lateral-anterior aspect of arm
reaches shoulder at LI 15
Connects to DU 14 and descends to supraclavicular fossa to enter lungs
Ascends from supraclavicular to SCM muscle to cheek and enters gums of lower teeth
Curves around philtrum and crosses over to end at side of nose to link with ST channel

A

Starts LI 6
Branch connects to lung channel
From LI 6 branch runs along main channel on arm to shoulder, jaw, teeth.
From jaw, another branch enters ear

Stomach Channel Main Pathway

A

Starts beside nose at LI 20, ascends to medial canthus to meet BL1, descends to ST 1, descends to enter upper gum and curves to meet DU 28 and DU 26, circles around lips and meets REN 24 at chin, runs lateral across cheeks to ST 5 and ST 6, ascends passing ST 7 to GB3, ascends to hairline at ST 8 passing GB 6,5,4, follows hairline to meet DU 24

Stomach Connecting Channel Pathway

A

Starts ST 40
connects with SP channel
Branch runs along anterior border of the tibia to upper thing and abdomen, to top of head, converges with all other yang channels.
A branch separates from from the neck and goes forward to the throat

Spleen Channel Main Pathway

A

Starts from tip of big toe
Runs along medial aspect of foot and ascends to medial malleolus
Follows posterior aspect of tibia, passes knee and thing to enter abdomen
Enters spleen and stomach
Traverses diahphragm and esophagus. Ends at center of tongue
A branch goes through the diaphragm and links with the heart

Heart Channel Main Pathway

A

Originates in the heart
Emerges, passes through diaphragm and connects with SI.
A branch ascends to the throat and eye
Another branch from the heart enters the lungs and emerges at the axilla, where it joins the superficial channel running along the medial aspect of arm to end at medial side of little finger

A

Ht 5 link with SI
Branch follows main channel to enter Heart and ascends to tip of tongue and eye

Small Intestine Main Channel Pathway

A

Starts ulnar side of tip of little finger
Follow ulnar side to dorsum of hand to reach wrist and ascend along posterior aspect of arm to shoulder joint
Circles around scapula, connects with DU 14, then to supraclavicular fossa and Heart
Descend esophagus to connect with SI
Superficial pathway of channel from supraclavicular fossa ascends to neck and cheek to enter ear
From cheek a branch goes to infraorbital region and links with bladder channel at BL 1

Bladder Channel Main Pathway

A

Starts inner canthus of eye
Ascends the forhead and joins Du channel at Du 20
Branch goes to temple
From the vertex, the channel enters the brain to re-emerge at nape of neck
Flows down occiput and down back
Enters Kd and UB from lumbar
Another branch from occiput runs down back along medial aspect of scapula, down back of glutes, and popliteal fossa. Meets previous branch and runs along posterior aspect of leg to lateral aspect of 5th toe where it links to Kd channel

Bladder Connecting Pathway

A

Separates BL 58 on leg and flows down to connect with Kd channel

Kidney Channel Main Pathway

A

Starts under 5th toe and runs to sole of foot at KD 1
Runs under navicular bone behind medial malleolus, ascends to medial side of leg up to inner aspect of the thigh
Then towards sacrum, ascends along lumbar spine and enters Kd and UB, then liver, diaphragm, lungs. Ascends to throat and terminates root of tongue. From lungs, branch joins the heart and flows to chest to connect with PC channel

A

KD 4 connects to UB channel
Branch runs along main KD channel to perineum and ascends through lumbar spine

A

Originates from chest and enters PC
Descends through diaphragm to abdomen to communicate with upper, middle, lower burner
Branch from center chest emerges laterally from nipple to run along superficial channel to axilla and down medial aspect of arm to end at medial side of middle finger
Branch from P-8 links with san jiao at SJ 1

A

Starts P6, flows ip to chest to PC and Ht

San Jiao Main Channel Pathway

A

Starts tip of ring finger
Runs between 4th and 5th metacarpal bones
flows through wrist and up lateral aspect of arm between radius and ulna
reaches shoulder joint and supraclavicular fossa from where it goes down to chest to connect with PC
Descends through diaphragm to abdomen to join middle and lower jiao.
From chest, branch goes up to supraclavicular fossa where it ascends to neck and region behind ear. Turns down to cheek and infraorbital region
From behind hear, branch enters ear and reemerges front of eat to link with GB channel

San Jiao Connecting Channel Pathway

A

SJ 5, flows up arm along main channel to shoulder and chest where it links with PC channel

Gall Bladder Main Channel Pathway

A

Begins near the outer canthus at GB 1, crosses anterior portion of ear to GB 2 and ascends to upper border of zygomatic arch at GB3. Ascends to corner of forehead to GB 4-7 to region above the ear to meet SJ 22 and 20. Curves posteriorly across sides of head to corner of forehead at ST 8 and descends to supraorbital region at GB 14. Ascends and curves across the side of head to GB 20. Crosses top of shoulder to GB 21 and SJ 15 to meet at Du 14. Passes laterally to BL 11 and SI 12 then enters supraclavicular fossa at ST 12.

A

GB 37 to connect to Liver channel.
Another branch proceeds down to scatter over dorsum of foot

Liver Channel Main Pathway

A

Starts big toe
Runs up dorsum of foot and medial malleolus, then up medial aspect of leg
Reaches genital region, curves around genetalia and up to lower abdomen
Curves around stomach and enters Lv and GB.
Ascends through diaphragm, branches out in hypochondrial and costal region
Ascends up throat and reaches eye
Goes to top of head to meet Du channel

A

Lv 5 connects to GB channel
Branch flows up medial aspect leg and thigh to genitals

Ren Channel Main Pathway

A

Originates in uterus or deep in lower abdomen in men
emerges perineum
runs anterior to pubic region up to throat along midline
from throat, ascends to curve around lips and up to eyes to meet ST channel at ST 1

A

Starts tip of xiphoid process from Ren 15 and spreads over abdomen

Du Main Channel Pathway

A

Originates uterus or lower abdomen
goes to perineum where it emerges
Ascends on midline up to back and neck to Du 16
enters brain
ascends to vertex annd down front of face to upper lip

Du Connecting Channel Pathway

A

Separates DU 1 and flows up along both sides of spine to occiput and scatters over top of head
At scapula a branch joins over bladder channel and upper spine
