Reusable: implements can be used on more than one client after being cleaned and disinfected

Explain the use and benefits of paraffin wax treatments during manicuring
Paraffin wax treatments are designed to trap moisture in the skin, while the heat causes skin pores to open to increase blood circulation and enhance penetration of the products
List the correct steps for cleaning and disinfecting nail implements and tools
- Wash: with warm water, soap and a brush until all debris and oils are removed
- Store in WET sanitizer: for the appropriate time needed (usually 4-6 hrs)
- Remove (pat dry) & place in clean storage
