I-LACK-OP

A

Insulin- variable depending on preparation
Lithium- stop day before
Anticoagulants/anti platelets - variable
COCP/HRT- stop 4 weeks prior to surgery
K sparing diuretics- on day of surgery
Oral hypoglycaemics- variable. But METFORMIN: stop if NBM, can cause lactic acidosis
perindopril and ACEi- day of surgery
