XML files for specific sites allowing a federated search.
Why would a user want to configure offline files?
To be able to access network resources when disconnected.

They can exclude certain files to be excluded from offline synchronization.

Group Policy Objects. Containers which administrators select and configure GPO settings. Starter GPOs are control templates.

Feature that allows external storage media to act as an extension to system memory enhancing performance.

Replaced Vista Security Center, displays security, and any other alerts generated by applications.
What is a BranchCache?
Feature acts as a buffer that stores files being accessed remotely to a local location for quicker access by other users in the same location and conserves WAN bandwidth as well.
What is DirectAccess?
New technology invisible to the user allowing the user to a DirectAccess server.
Whys is DirectAccess used instead of traditional VPN connections?
Direct access is faster and easier to use than VPN connections.
What is Windows PowerShell 2.0?
It is the new dominant scripting and command line language. Installed by default on W7 and W2008 server R2.
