Anarchical System
There is no central authority to set and enforce rules and resolve disputes.
IGOs (Intergovernmental Organizations)
International/Transnational actors that are composed of member-countries (ex. United Nations, European Union).
NGOs (Nongovernmental Organizations)
International (transnational) organizations with private memberships, usually nonprofit (ex. World Health Organization).
MNCs (Multinational Corporations)
Private enterprises that have production subsidiaries or branches in more than one country (ex. Apple, Microsoft, Samsung, Amazon).

Realism
An emphasis on power; political struggle among humans is inevitable because people have an inherent dark side.
Liberalism
An emphasis on principles; optimistic about human nature, argue that people and countries can better their existence by joining together to build a cooperative and peaceful global society.
