Q

Why do people say that there are good and bad food if that’s not true? Does that mean that all foods are the same?

A

Foods like common snacks may be referred to as bad because they may be high in empty calories and fat, but this is the wrong word to describe them. There are no good or bad foods because ALL foods provide nutrients. Some just provide more than others.

A

Genetics and environment

23

Are functional foods better or worse for us?

A

They can be beneficial to us in some ways, but more research is needed. They are foods manufactured for specific health related functions.
