Q

What is Group Tactical (Tier-3)

A

Group integrated multi-platform, multi-warfare area (CSG, SAUC, SAGC)
(1-4)

17
Q

What is the goal of the Predictable Path?

A

For each ship to have a standard, throughout all FTRP phases.
(1-5)

18
Q

What is Exit Criteria?

A

Ships must meet exit criteria across all PESTO pillars in order to transition to the next phase.
(1-5)

19
Q

What are the 6 phases of the FRTP?

A

*Sustainment
*Maintenance
*Shakedown
*Basic
*Advanced
*Integrated
(1-6)

20
Q

What is the Sustainment Phase?

A

After C7F approves the recommendation for Deployment Certification, and ends when the exit criteria is met. During the phase a ship will maintain and improve PESTO pillar readiness.
(1-6)

21
Q

What is Maintenance Phase?

A

Begins at the start of a CNO Availability or orhter availability designated by TYCOM. The ship will improve the PESTO pillar readiness to be able to perform in the Basic Phase.
(1-6)

22
Q

What is Shakedown Phase?

A

Begins upon completion of Contractor Sea Trials. The ship will validate its readiness to begin Basic Phase Training.
(1-7)

23
Q

What is Basic Phase?

A

Begins after successful completion of the Shakedown Phase. During Basic Phase, a ship will conduct unit level training to improve PESTO pillar readiness.
(1-7)

24
Q

What is the Advanced Phase?

A

Begins upon completion of Basic Phase. During this phase a ship will conduct Multi-unit tactical level training in preparation for the integrated phase.
(1-7)

25
What is Integrated Phase?
Begins upon completion of Advance Phase, where a ship will conduct a multi-unit, multi-platform training and improve PESTO pillar readiness, performing in a strike group. (1-7)
26
What is Qualification?
An event conducted to support a mission area certification. | 1-7
27
What is Dependency provide an example and where is a complete list of SFRM dependencies?
An event conducted by an external organization whose periodicity must be current for mission area certification. * AVCERT is a dependency of Aviation * LOA is a dependency for MOB-E * SESI is a dependency for EXPSAF * EKMS A&A is a dependency for Communications SFRM dependency’s can be found in Appendix A, Section 2 (Page A-4) (1-7)
28
List the four elements of the phased approach in the surface ships readiness strategy (SSRS)?
*Education *Training *Assessment *Certification (1-3)
29
What are the requirements of the Afloat Training Specialist IAW ATG’s Instruction?
*Be qualified as an ATG TM, or be part of a training team. *Receive three positive Afloat Trainer Evaluation *Complete the ATS JQR (1-0)
30
What is DRRS-N?
Defense Readiness Reporting System-Navy
31
What does DRRS-N show?
Six colors, Green, Yellow and Red. Each color has a sub color. (Light Green…) DRRS-N identifies which ship is best prepared for the specific mission (BMD, ASW..)
32
Discuss the five step flow process of ORM?
``` I - Identify Hazards A - Assess Hazards M - Make Risk Decisions I - Implement Controls S - Supervise ```
33
What are the ORM process levels?
* Time Critical * Deliberate * In Depth
34
What are the ORM Principles?
* Accept no unnecessary risk * Accept risk when benefits outweigh the cost * Anticipate and manage risk by planning * Make risk decisions at the right level
