Ecology is the study of ecosystems
What is an ecosystem?
A biological community that has interactions with other species
How do producers create chemical energy for food?
Energy is made by photosynthesis, when sunlight and carbon dioxide makes glucose.
What are the subgroups of consumers
Herbivores, carnivores, omnivores and detrivores
What is the Decomposers role?
A Decomposers converts dead organisms into nutrients that be made into organic matter for other organisms
What can be the interactions in an ecosystem?
Competition, predator-prey, parasitism, mutualism and commensalism
What can be the two different groups associated with Competition?
Infraspecific and Interspecific
What is meant in a Predator-Prey relationship?
A predator feeds off another living animal with the advantage of size .etc
