What is a delinquent act?
An act which if committed by an adult would be a crime
What is a status offense?
A Juvenile who is charged with an offense that would not be a crime if committed by an adult. (Runaway, truant, possession of alcohol)
A child under 18 is subject to the jurisdiction of the ___ Court for the county sitting as a juvenile court.
