A well formed conscience does not come naturally. What must it be? How do we continue to form it?
IT MUST BE EDUCATED. We continue to form it through our life.
What are some sources that help form our conscience?
It is our responsibility to seek the guidance of God’s word in Scripture, to listen to teaching of the pope and bishops, to fill our minds and hearts with the love and wisdom of our Catholic faith, to look for guidance of faithful Catholics among us, and to pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. These are all sources that help us form our conscience.
