Social Security Act of 1965
created the Medicare and Medicaid Programs that funded health care for those over 65 years of age through Medicare and for the Indigent through Medicaid (Care for the old and aid those will financial need)
National Association of Free Clinics (NAFC)
was established in 2001 to suppose 1,200 free clinics in nearly all states within the United States as it was necessary and is still necessary today as many people still are uninsured
Almshouses

The government is involved but the financing research through the National Institute of Health and Individual health care for the elderly through Medicare, healthcare for the low-income uninsured

Public Health emphasis is on prevention while to Medical Care the emphasis is treatment of disease

Public health at city and state level now includes functions as licensing and accrediting health professionals and health facilities, setting standard for automobile safety devices, and supervising the quality of medical programs such as Medicaid

This conducts an annual telephone surgery of to evaluate behaviors that increase risk of chronic disease, including diet, physical activity, smoking and drug and alcohol use.

That is that free clinics are no longer necessary after the implementation of the ACA. However an estimated 29 million (11%) of those living in the United Stated were uninsured in 2019.
What is Preventive Healthcare?
It plays an important role in achieving health care for all through recently expanded, federally funded primary care clinics, and public health clinics funded by city and state governments.
What is more common community or private hospitals?
There are more community, non profit hospitals than private

A private hospital is owned and operated by groups such as churches, businesses, corporations and physicians

it offers a wide variety of assistance and activities. Educational efforts aimed at involving consumers in their own care include attention to and recognition of risk factors, environmental changes to reduce the threat of illness, occupational safety measured and public health education programs and legislation.
What is Diagnosis and Treatment of Illness?
this is the most used of the health care services and most often provided in the hospital or ambulatory care setting and and involved laboratory tests and x-rays and other technology to make a diagnosis
What are Rehabilitation Services?
This involves the restoration of a person to normal or near normal function after a physical or mental illness including chemical addiction.
what is a public hospital?
is finances and operated by a government agency, for example by the city, county or state.
What is a voluntary Hospital?
are usually nonprofit and often are owned and operated by religious organizations
What are community Hospitals?
they are independent nonprofit corporations consisting of local citizens interested in providing hospital care for their community.
What is a Proprietary Hospital?
this is also called a for-profit hospital are operated for the financial benefit of the persons, partnership, or corporations that own them.
