-made up of many cells

A cell within a multicellular organism that has a job to do to keep the organism alive

Muscle cells

- many mitochondria
- Skeletal muscles: attached to bones
- Smooth muscles: muscles that move automatically
Cardiac muscles: make up heart (a lot of mitochondria)

A
- long fiber(axon) caries electrical message to next nerve, to the brain.

Blood cells
A
Red blood cells: Carries oxygen and carbon dioxide (45%)
White blood cells: immune system(>1%)
Platelets: prevent blood clotting (>1%)
Plasma: Carries cells and protein (55%)

A
Brown fat cells: produce heat
White fat cells: stores energy and insulates body
