Risks of Low Self-esteem
no Respect for themselves, Judge themselves harshly, Worry too much about others opinions of them.
Self-esteem development
Self-esteem is never constant. It can increase or decrease as people interact with their families, peers, etc.
3 stages of development
Childhood, adolescence, adulthood.
Self-actualization
The process by which people achieve their full potential.
Maslow’s hierarchy of needs
Physiological, safety, love/belongings, esteem, and self-actualization. (PSLBESA)
