(20 cards)
What are congruent angles?
They are angles that have the same measure.
What are the inequality properties?
The addition is a > b then a + c > b + c
The multiplication is a > b and c > 0 then ac > bc
The multiplication is a > b and c < 0 then ac < bc
The transitive is a > b and b > c then a > c
What are adjacent angles?
They are two coplanar angles that have a common side and a common vertex but no common interior points.
What is the slope of a line?
It’s the ratio obtained from two points of a line by dividing the difference in y coordinates by the difference in x coordinates.
What are angle bisectors?
They are rays that that are in the interior of an angle and forms congruent adjacent angles.
What are perpendicular lines?
They are lines that intersect to form right angles.
What is a linear pair?
It’s a pair of adjacent angles whose non common sides form a straight angle.
What are vertical angles?
They are angles that are adjacent to the same angle and forming linear pairs with it.
What are complementary and supplementary angles?
Complementary angles are when the sum of both are 90*
Supplementary angles are when the sum of both are 180*
What is an acute angle?
