It states that women are allowed to vote. This happened at the House.

The law that 18 yr olds are old enough to vote. This eventually turned into an amendment.

It states that if members in Congress vote to increase there salaries, the change cannot go into affect until next election.

What happened in the Pless vs Ferguson case?
Homer Plessy refused to leave a white only rail car. Plessy argued that segregation violated his equal protection.
What was the Linda Brown case?
In the Linda Brown case she was 7 blocks away from a white school and 21 blocks away from the black school. Should she have to walk all the way there when there is a school right there. No. Linda’s parents brought the school board to court. They won. This abolished segregation.
What was the Alan Bakke case?
In this case Alan Bakke did not get into a university bit others from different races did and they got worse grades than he did. He brought the university to court and won. The court ruled it in constitutional.
What was the Ida Phillips case?
She was denied her job because she had children. She took the company to court and won.,
What are the two ways to propose an amendment?
You can propose by Congress by a 2/3 vote in both houses or propose
at a national convention called by Congress when requested by 2/3 (34) of the state legislatures.
What are the two ways to ratify an amendment?
It can be ratified by 3/4 or (38) state legislatures or by conventions held in 3/4 or (38) different states.
What is the first amendment?
Freedom of religion, petition, speech, assembly, and press.
What is the second amendment?
The right to bear arms.
What is the third amendment?
The government may not let soldiers stay in the houses of people during peacetime. (Outdated)
