A

Homer Plessy refused to leave a white only rail car. Plessy argued that segregation violated his equal protection.

What was the Linda Brown case?

A

In the Linda Brown case she was 7 blocks away from a white school and 21 blocks away from the black school. Should she have to walk all the way there when there is a school right there. No. Linda’s parents brought the school board to court. They won. This abolished segregation.

A

In this case Alan Bakke did not get into a university bit others from different races did and they got worse grades than he did. He brought the university to court and won. The court ruled it in constitutional.
