French and Indian War
The Indians fought on both sides, This war was a war against British colonies for land, and also the French and Spanish (Spain) allied together
Great War for Empire
This war was also known as the Seven’s year war, Britain, France, and Spain fought in this war; they all fought for their colonies and different territories
Salutary Neglect
Term used for England’s policy allowing the colonies a large amount of freedom to govern themselves.

Parliament’s first attempt to tax American colonists directly, which required a government tax stamp on paper goods and all legal documents.

this was started by an unknown source; a crowd protesting British presence was fired on by British troops; 5 people were killed
Boston Tea Party
tea was dumped into the Boston River by the Sons of Liberty, dressed as natives, due to the raising of taxes causing the tea to be to expensive

this was a pamphlet written by Thomas Paine; this pamphlet talked about how it was common sense for people to have unalienable rights

Second general meeting of the colonies in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at which delegates discussed how to govern during the revolutionary war

this was a battle that had secured French support for the Americans due to the absolute victory that they attained because of guerilla warfare tactics

this was a defensive war, this war was fought with the intention of just making out so the other army runs out of resources and supplies

this is where Washington’s army had stayed and this is also where his army suffered harsh winter and an outbreak of smallpox; the Prussian General taught the army how to be professional soldiers

The Patriots and French defeated the British and forced them to retreat; this was also the end of the Revolutionary war

this is adding or fixing amendments to the Constitution; this also allows for a more detailed specification of the rights that Congress can not make laws against

A rebellion of Massachusetts farmers who were angry at the prospect of losing their land.

this is the separation of powers between the states and the federal government; the states have plenary power while the federal government has enumerated powers
