Closed questions
Questions in which specific answer options are offered.
Content or discourse analysis
A research tool used in surveys to determine the presence of certain words, concepts or themes within transcript or set of text.
Dependable variable
Any variable which is dependent on the different values of the independent variable
Directivity
A type of attitude held during data collection by the researchers
Design
The plan describing the procedure of data collection
Focus group
A group of individuals interviewed collectively
Hypothesis
A link between different types of variables
Independent variable
Any variable whose values are, in principle, independent of the changes in the values of other variables
