There are four types of prayer. They are petitions, Adoration, Contrition, and thanksgiving

they take many vows. They makes vows of Poverty, Chastity, and obedience
how does revelation show mary’s queenship?
revelation shows Mary in heaven clothed with the sun. She is also crowned with 12 stars.

people pray in many ways. the three expressionss are vocal, meditation, and contemplation.
how does Jesus model prayer in the Gospels?
Jesus models different types of prayer. he does this from vocal to silent formal prayers and prayers of the heart, and scripture (psalms)
what does it mean that the sacraments are ex Opere operator?
It means “from the work preformed”. Christ does this work of the sacraments , as long as the sacrament is validly celebrated, it is effective.
what is the liturgical year?
calendar of all church teachings. This starts at Advent.
what is the common priesthood of the faithful?
by virtue of our Baptism, we all share in the common priesthood of the faithful. This is different from mineral priesthood.
what are popular devotions?
structured prayers of the people. These prayers are things such as rosary, Chaplets, and novenas
