US’s economic and military power was extreemly strong. prior to the attack of pearl habour, US was not ready for war when japan attacked, as roosevelt had faced severe opposition to US involvement with the war. however, the opposition evaportaed after the attack and the US’s vast resoyrces were all mobilised in a short time. people, factories, shipyards and even the movie industry joined in the war effort. within months, US was rebuilding fleets and training troops, as well as producing weapons. from 1942 onwards, the US supplied the allie
