Describe 5 biomes in Asia.
A
- Tunda : bitterly cold and the ground is deeply frozen, but im summer, the surface thaws, then ponds form everywhere.
- Taiga : Has thick forests with trees such as spruce and fir. Winters are very long, and cold. Summers are short and warm.
- Steppes : Plains of grassland.
- Temperature forest : Has lots of trees, hot summers, and cold winters. There are few trees because there isn’t enough rain.
- Cold desert : Summers are hot, but cloudless skies are cold nights. Winters are very cold.
- Mountain : The higher you gp, the colder it gets. After a certain point it gets too cold for trees.
