What is a balanced diet?
A balanced diet is a diet that contains all the diferent kids of nutrients in correct portions to maintain a healthy body.
What factors affect the kind of diet each person needs?
Age, gender, activity levels, health issues, pregnancy, breastfeeding
Why do people who do sports require more nutrients?
This is beacuse they need more energy for movement as muscles are contracting and respring faster.
Why do younger people require more nutrients?
This is because younger people need more nutrients for the cells to develop and grow.
What is fibre and why do you still need to consume it?
Fibre is not a nutrient as it can not be digested, but it helps to prevent constipation.
