Subject particle
に
Particle meaning at, in, to; specifies the target of the action, a location, or absolute time (like Monday.)
で
At, by, in, with - Particle specifying the location, tool, method or condition used for an action.
へ
e - particle meaning toward, to. Specifies the direction of coming and going.
から
Particle meaning from. Specifies the source, origin, or starting point.
まで
Particle meaning until. Specifies the ending point of a continuous action.
の
Particle meaning of, ‘s
と
Particle for listing nouns. Exhaustively lists - A, B, and C.
Can also specify the person/animal performing action with the subject.
や
Particle for listing nouns. Lists them as examples - A, B, C, etc.
か
Particle for listing nouns. Lists alternatives - A, B, or C.
は
wa - topic particle. Indicates something that has already been discussed. Drop any が or を particles before は.
Can also be used to highlight contrasting nouns.
Can also be used for the item to which the noun does not apply, for verbs in the negative form.
も
Particle used for addition. Marks an item that is in addition to another item introduced in the context. It means also or too.
ばかり
Particle - nothing but… (negative connotation).
Can go after noun or after -て form verb, but is usually after the noun.
しか
Particle meaning only. Indicates too few or too little. Can only be used with negative verb form.
だけ
Just/only. When used with noun, だけ can before or after the other particle. The exception is が and を, which must come after だけ.
Can be used with affirmative or negative verb forms.
Use しか instead of だけ when emphasizing the lack of additional quantity.
でも
Particle meaning even. Implies that the speaker considers the item to be the least expected, i.e., This is so easy even a child can do it.

Less common: TOKU, TŌ
Visual: Sales manager giving the daily reading: “Lo, I say unto you who sell.”
Aural: At the DOK, U can either do yoga or Read.
道
DŌ; michi - Road/way (physical or spiritual)
Less common: TŌ (as in ShinTŌ)
Visual: Painting lines on a seal’s neck to make a Road for toy cars.
Aural: DŌ not give me cheese, I’m about to hit the Road.
天
TEN - Heaven, air, sky
Less common: ame, ama
Visual: Sumo wrestler in Heavenly mansion, where condiments exude from the top of buns.
Aural: All sumo wrestlers aTEN Heaven.

BUN; wa - Part (sense of division)
Less common: FUN, BU
Visual: Volcanoes were made when underground dwellers Parted the rock and magma with their swords.
Aural: The wacky way to Part your BUN is with your sword.

BUTSU; mono - Thing
Less common: MOTSU
Visual: Guy stooping next to a cow, asking it, “What’s that Thing?”
Aural: The Thing about monorails: they’re always crowded, so your BUTS Up against other people.

KIN - Axe
Visual: Looks like an Axe.
Aural: Sharpen your Axe so it has a KIN edge.

SHIN; atara - New
Less common: arata, nii
Visual: To cut down the Newest part of the tree, stand on top of it with your axe.
Aural: At a raffle, you can win a New car with a brilliant New SHIN.
