Progesterone
prepares the endometrium (lining of your uterus) for a fertilized egg to implant and grow
Testosterone
primary male hormone responsible for regulating sex differentiation, producing male sex characteristics, spermatogenesis, and fertility
Cortisol

Growth Hormone

Prolactin
a hormone made by the pituitary gland, a small gland at the base of the brain. Prolactin causes the breasts to grow and make milk during pregnancy and after birth
Gastrin
a peptide hormone primarily responsible for enhancing gastric mucosal growth, gastric motility, and secretion of hydrochloric acid (HCl) into the stomach
Erythropoietin
a glycoprotein hormone, naturally produced by the peritubular cells of the kidney, that stimulates red blood cell production
Glucagon
a hormone that your pancreas makes to help regulate your blood glucose (sugar) levels
Amylin
inhibits food intake, delays gastric emptying, and decreases blood glucose levels, leading to the reduction of body weight
Epinephrine (Adrenaline)
help you prepare for stressful or dangerous situations
